Pauline Weaver Jones

Mrs. Pauline “Pot” Weaver Jones, 93, of Reedy Creek School Dr., died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  A funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at Good Hope United Methodist Church where she was a member, conducted by the Rev, Joseph M. Fulk, III. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home.  Mrs. Jones was born in Davidson County November 26, 1926 to the late Burgess Eli and Maggie LouElla Phillips Weaver. She had retired from the former Dixie Furniture Corporation and was a member of the Senior Friends of Good Hope Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Anderson Jones; brothers Archie, Bryce, Bobby, and Billy Weaver; and sister Kathleen Shoaf.  Surviving are sons Roy David Jones (Carol) and Rickey Dale Jones all of Lexington; brother Don Weaver (Lib) of Lexington; and sisters-in-law Sue, Virginia, and Betty Weaver all of Lexington, and Barbara Weaver of Thomasville.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
