Pauline Hogan, 81, of West Seventh Street Ext., died Friday, June 19, 2009, at her home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. James Messer officiating. Mrs. Hogan was born October 8, 1927, in Montgomery County, to Willie Randall Morris and Sarah Catherine Hogans Morris. She was a retired inspector from Dacotah Cotton Mill. She was married to Elliott Dausel Hogan, who preceded her in death May 1982. Surviving are her sons, Clyde Elliott Hogan and wife, Sally, of Lexington, and Bobby Ray Hogan and wife, Carla, of Easley, S.C.; grandchildren, Traci Neill and husband, Jeff, of Lexington, Kristi Briles and husband, Darrick, of Pilot Mountain, Ashley Wilson and husband, Chris, Melissa Jefferson and husband, David, all; of Easley, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Sgt. Jared Robbins and fiancé, Courtney, of Ft. Benning, Ga., Lauren Robbins, Tanna Robbins, Payton Neill, Makenzi Neill, all of Lexington, Hogan Jefferson, Carleigh Jefferson and Taylor Wilson, all of Easley, S.C.; brothers, James Morris, Clarence Morris and wife, Merele, and Bobby Lee Morris and wife, Ann, all of Lexington; sister, Mary Ellen Peacock and husband, Johnny, of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
