Paul Carlton Owens

Mr. Paul Carlton “Dink” Owens , 85 of Lexington , died Monday, August 12, 2019 at Brookstone Retirement Center.  A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2019 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Scott.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Piedmont Funeral Home.   Mr. Owens was born July 3, 1934 in Davidson County to the late Homer Clifford Owens and Effie Eula Beck Owens. He was a self-employed furniture maker, and a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers David Clarence Owens and Bryce Lewis Owens.   Surviving are brother James Wallace Owens (Carolyn), and sister Janet Ruth Crouch all of Lexington. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC. 27292, or to Mt.
