Paul Branford Clontz

Paul Branford Clontz, 80, of South Highway 150, died Sunday morning at his home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday December 27, 2014 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Clontz Family Cemetery, with military honors provided by the US Marine Corp. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Mr. Clontz was born in Davidson County on May 23, 1934 to the late B.A. Clontz and Beulah Sigmon Clontz. He was a retired captain with the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer S. Clontz, Gilbert Clontz, Charles W. Clontz and Billy Clontz, sisters, Mildred Wyatt, Kathlene Poole and Lorene Hill. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Jewell Casper Clontz of the home; sons, Paul Clontz (Rhonda) and Ted Clontz (Sandy) of Linwood; John Clontz (Lisa) of Spencer; Austin Clontz and Tyler Clontz of the home; brothers, Bobby Lee Clontz and Julian C. Clontz of Lexington; sister, Nancy Clement of Lexington; grandchildren, Jordan,Amber, Alyssa,Cory, Landon,Leslie and Madison.
