HEADING: Paul Russell Black Paul Russell Black 87 of Smith Farm Rd. died Sunday June 12,2011 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Emanuel United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Ricky Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Black was born April 30,1924 in Davidson County to the late Luther Black and Pearl Myers Black. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Elza Elwood Black. Mr. Black was a retired dairy farmer. Surviving are one brother; Odell Black of Lexington.
