Patrick Ray Lackey

Mr. Patrick Ray Lackey, 60, a resident of Eastside Drive, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his residence. after a sudden illiness. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles F. Lackey officiating. Mr. Lackey was born April 29, 1947 in Davidson County to Dewitt Anthony and Verlie Clark Anthony who preceded him in death. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was of the Holiness Faith. Mr. Lackey was a Salesman with Auto Supply. Surviving are one son, Douglas Farmer of Tennessee, one God-daughter Sarah Elizabeth Beeker, of Lexington. Also surviving are four sisters, Barbara Vestal and husband Alvis of Thomasville, Rebecca Kepley and husband Raymond,and Judy Brindle all of Lexington, and Sylvia Morgan and husband Bob of Hollywood, FL. One brother, Rev. Charles F. Lackey and wife Linda, of Denton, twelve nieces and fourteen nephews also survive. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
