Patricia Ann Brooks

Patricia Ann Bulmer Brooks, 79, of Brookgreen Drive, died Friday January 13, 2017 at the Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Grace Episcopal Church Chapel, by The Rev. M. Alton Plummer. A private inurnment will precede the memorial service. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Russ and Kathy Johnson. Mrs. Brooks was born March 9, 1937 to Bernadine Aric Read and William Joseph Bulmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years, George William Brooks, who died in 2007. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Johnson (Russ) and Laura Brooks; five grandchildren, Kristi Allred (Wes), Michelle Peoples (Drew), Matt Hisamoto, Emily Hisamoto, Jenny Colquitt (Bryan); and four great-grandchildren, Chandler Allred, Blair Allred, Walker Peoples and Eli Peoples. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington,NC 27292; Humane Society of Davidson County, 1114 Piedmont Dr., Lexington,NC 27293.
