Patricia Ball

Patricia Ann Orrell Ball,81, of Linwood, passed away Thursday October 28, 2021 at her home. A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Terry Smith. Patricia was born March 27, 1940 in Rowan County to the late Herman and Barbara Lanning Orrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald Ball. She was formerly employed by Orrell’s Food Service. Surviving are sons Kris Ball (Cathy) of Linwood and Eddie Ball (Sandra) of Welcome; daughter Barbie Readling (Steve) of Linwood; grandchildren Zach Ball, Courtney Grubbs (Brandon), Jenny Brinkle (Jason), Cody Simerson (Hannah), Shelly Readling (Brandon), and Steven Readling; great-grandchildren Emma Jean Brinkle, Eva Lynn Brinkle, Ada Belle Simerson, and Willow Mae Simerson. Also surviving is brother Tony Orrell. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
