It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pallie Ann McLoon, who departed from this world on July 31, 2025, in Lexington, NC. Born on December 8, 1950, in Denton, North Carolina, Pallie lived a life filled with warmth, dedication, and love.
Pallie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her faith in Christ. She found joy in the simple pleasures, especially in spending time with her family and friends. She was a woman who always put her family first, and everyone knew her as Granny, a testament to her loving nature and the impact she had on those around her.
Throughout her life, Pallie found joy in the creative arts. She had a passion for sewing and crafts, showing her creativity through every project, she undertook and leaving behind a legacy of beautiful handmade items. Beyond her personal pursuits, Pallie found community at the Senior Center of Lexington. She actively participated in the Senior Center Craft Group and even participated in the Senior Olympics, embracing both the social and competitive aspects of these activities.
Pallie is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy (Keith) White, son, Jeff (Kimberly) Jones, brother Michael Daniel, three cherished grandchildren: Alisha (Cody) Dahlenburg, James Hunter White (Hannah), and Luke Jones, and four great-grandchildren: Emmett, Amelia, Walker, and Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Gilbert Daniel and Annie Mae Hulin Daniel, and husband Willie "Pete" Elton McLoon Jr. Pallie’s family will forever cherish the memories they shared, especially the countless moments of laughter, love, and unwavering support she provided.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Pallie's life and legacy at Maple Grove Christian Church 2943 N. NC 150 Lexington, NC 27295 on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, starting at 12 to 1 pm, with a visitation an hour prior beginning at 11am. Pallie Ann McLoon will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the memories of those she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will continue to inspire generations to come.
