Norma Cable

Norma Jean Leonard Cable, age 73, died at her residence August 3, 2010 , after a sudden illiness. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lexington City Cemetery with Dr. Joe Coltrane officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Piedmont Funeral Home. She was born in Davidson County on August 14, 1936 to Roland Webster Leonard and Nellie Frances Thomason. Mrs. Cable was a homemaker and a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. Mrs. Cable is survived by her husband Garray Rufus Cable of the home; one son Garray Roland Cable of Lexington, one daughter Melren Elizabeth Cable of Myrtle Beach, S.C. one brother Ronald Webster Leonard and his wife Martha of Greer, S.C. and one sister Cedonia Gay Newell and her husband Eugene of Oak Island, N.C. Memorials may be made to Second Reformed United Church of Christ, 330 N. Church Street, Lexington, N.C. 27292. Piedmont Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
