Nettie Mae Sexton

Nettie Mae Sexton, 78, a resident of Golden Drive, Lexington, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday from the Graveside in Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Mrs. Sexton was born in Washington County, Virginia on December 31, 1928 to the late Craig Lowe and Bessie Woodby Lowe. She was a retired employee of Link-Taylor Furniture and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, James Sexton, a son, David Sexton, and a daughter, Carolyn Nicholas. She is survived by four daughters, Anna Hill and her husband, Roger, Dorothy Crotts, and her husband, Danny all of Lexington; Connie Sexton of the home, and Donna Colley and her husband, Clark of Lexington, two sisters, Sarah Rudder of Abingdon, Virginia, and Ida Gaye Rambo of Rural Retreat, Virginia. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. The family will receive friends at the residence.
