Nannie Sue Livengoood 83 of Yadkin College Road passed away Friday evening in the Hinkle Hospice Home after several years of declining health. She was born November 6, 1926 in Davidson County to William Davis and Clara Hobbs Walser. She was a homemaker and a member of Yadkin College United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held Tuesday Febuary 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home with the Rev. John Deyton and Rev. Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Yadkin College Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Hobert Livengood , and son Denny Von Livengood of the home; two daughters Clara Sue Greene and husband Worth and Annette Painther both of Lexington; three grandchildren, Tracey Medlin and husband Tommy, Eric Livengood and wife Rochelle, and Kevin Greene and wife Alicia; four great-grandchildren Ashley Medlin, Alicia Medlin, Lucas Greene and Lawson Greene.; one great-great-grandchild McKinley Hyde; two sisters Doris Burrow of Lexington, and Mozelle Koontz of Welcome. The family will have a visitation 6-8- Monday evening at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, N.C. 27295 or Yadkin College Cemetery in care of Nancy Brooks 427 Brooks Circle, Lexington, N.C. 27295.
