Nannie Evelyn Bailey

Nannie Evelyn Hoffman Bailey, age 85, of the Brian Center, formerly of W. Ninth Ave., passed away Monday (4-02-2012) in the Brian Center. A funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday (4-5-2012) at Piedmont Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dr. Wayne Knight. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday (4-4-2012) at Piedmont Funeral Home, and other times the family will be at the home of her son Larry. Evelyn was born April 3, 1926 in Davidson County to Cicero and Nannie Pearl Miller Hoffman. She was a homemaker, and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George F. Bailey Sr, and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by: Four sons, Larry Bailey and wife Wanda, James Randal Bailey, George F. Bailey Jr. and wife Becky, all of Lexington and Robert Bailey and wife Jackie of Salisbury. Two daughters, Peggy Freeman and Barbara Willis, both of Lexington. Sixteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
