Nancy Foster Trollinger, 93, of Lexington, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Tyro Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Born in Davidson County on April 14, 1932, Nancy was the daughter of Lloyd Tillman Foster and Louise McMahan Foster. She attended Ashmore Business College and was a faithful member of Tyro Methodist Church, where she was once very active in the life of the church. Nancy was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a beloved sister whose gentle spirit and quiet strength were a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles "Chubby" Trollinger; her granddaughter, Jennifer James; her brother, Charles Foster; and her sisters, Marjorie Allen, Geraldine Leonard, Elizabeth Miller, Carolyn Smith, and Edith Baxter.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Cynthia Johnson, Wendell Trollinger, and Ellen Rickard; her sister-in-law, Alice Foster; grandchildren, Brittany Trollinger, Logan Trollinger, Samantha Halama (Justin), Ethan Rickard (Ami), and Sonny Rickard (Sotheara); eight great-grandchildren; and two more great-grandchildren soon to arrive.
Memorials may be made to the Old Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund in care of Tyro Methodist Church, 4484 S. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
Nancy's legacy of love and faith will continue to live in the lives of those she so dearly loved.
