Nancy Fritts Griffin

Nancy Fritts Griffin 76 of R.O. Fritts Dr. died Friday May 11, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Mt Carmel United Methodist Church where she was a member with the Rev. Bruce Morasco officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Monday May 14, 2012 at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Griffin was born in Davidson County on April 23,1936 to the late Ruford Osco Fritts and Vada Lanning Fritts. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Griffin and was the organist at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are, husband Franklin Donald Griffin, sons, Tim Griffin and wife Liza of Lexington, Ritchie Griffin and wife Janet of Brandenton,Fla. , daughters, Debbie Lanning and Karen Everhart both of Lexington, grandchildren, Jamie Hunt, Kenny Griffin, Michelle Martin, Eric Griffin and Blake Griffin, great grandchildren, Samantha Hunt and Hendrix Griffin.
