Mildred Ann Thompson

Mildred Koonts Thompson 71, of Grubb Dr. Denton, died Monday at Hinkle Hospice House. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Frankie Grubb officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 P.M. Wednesday at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Thompson was born in Davidson County on December 4,1943 to the late Haven Lester Koonts and Ada Athey Koonts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thompson, sisters, Louise Leonard and Grace Jenkins. She was a supervisor with Philpot Furniture Surviving are her son, Roy Dean Thompson of Denton; daughter, Linda Ann Stone of Adel, Ga.; brothers, John Koonts,Jimmy Koonts,Jerry Koonts and Joe koonts all of Lexington; sister, Dorothy Tripp of Welcome; grandchildren, Harley and Chance Thompson.
