Mildred Byerly Robinson

Mildred Marie Byerly Robinson, age 79, of Eleanor Drive, Lexington, died December 2, 2009 at Lexington Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born April 12, 1930 in Davidson County to the late Everette Lee Byerly and Julie Wilson Byerly. Also preceding her in death was one daughter, Linda Mae Byerly, and 7 brothers: Paul Byerly, James Byerly, Bruce Byerly, Jack Byerly, Raymond Byerly, Ardell Byerly and Roy Byerly. She was retired from Glenda Table Company and was a member of Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church. . Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., December 05, 2009, from the Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry King and Rev. James Shetley officiating. Burial will follow in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Gary Robinson of the home; one son Delmar Byerly and his wife Carolyn of Lexington; two daughters, Judy Byerly and Donese Goodnough and her husband Gary of Lexington, and 2 sisters, Bertha Mae Swicegood, and Margaret Byerly both of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday, December 4, at Piedmont Funeral Home, and other times at the home on Eleanor Drive.
