Mildred Lindsey Lopp

Mildred Lindsey Lopp, 86 of Lakewood Drive, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Lexington, where she was a member, with Dr. Ray Howell, III and the Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. Mildred was born in Forsyth County on August 14,1928 to the late Anglos Marvin Lindsey and Mildred Conrad Lindsey. She was a registered nurse and formerly employed with Dr. Banks Hankins office for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Benny B. Lopp. Surviving are her son, Benny B. Lopp, Jr. and wife Lynne of Shelby; daughter, Nancy Lopp Hedrick and husband Ken of Lexington; sister in law, Shinok Lindsey and daughter Laura of North Wales,Pennsylvania; nephew, Walter Lindsey of Lexington; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
