Michael Steven Butcher

Michael Steven “Rabbit” Butcher, 35, of West Center Street Extension died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren by Pastor Mark Craddock. Michael was born November 20, 1979 in Davidson County to Michael Allen Butcher and Belinda Childers Butcher. He was self-employed. Surviving are wife Melissa Hanes of the home; son Wyatt Butcher of the home; his mother of Gibsonville; his father and step-mother, Karen Janelle “Nell” Butcher of Tyro; sister Brandy Anne Butcher of Ramseur; two step-sisters, Hannah Marie Butcher of Tyro, and April Dawn Cloutier of Asheville; nieces Jasmine Wooten and Megan Butcher; nephew Clayton Butcher; and grandfather Harvey Butcher of Asheboro.
