Mrs. Melba Biddle Hunter, 71, of Raymond Clodfelter Rd, died Sunday at Thomasville Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 12 at Second Presbyterian Church, by the Revs. Doug Gebhard and Bill Sosebee. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Friday prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Hunter was born January 12, 1939 in Camden, NJ to George and Ada Viola Batchelor Biddle. She was a retired C.N.A and a member of Second Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and the Red Hat Society. Her husband, Edward Leroy Hunter and her son, Frank Biddle, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Keith Reynolds of Lexington and Fred Hunter of Mays Landing, NJ; her daughter, Kim Hunter of Shelby; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her special friends, Margie Weavil of Denton, Doris Cox of Linwood, and Anne Setree of Pennsylvania.
