Maxine Marie McPeak Edwards, 73 a resident of Mount Moriah Drive, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Sticht Center in Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 30, 2007, from the Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times will be at the home of the sister, Connie Thompson, 903 Wilson Street, Lexington.
