Mary Katherine Rowe

Mary Katherine Clark Rowe, 81 of Sowers Road, died Friday December 11, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery, with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. No public visitation will be held. Mrs. Rowe was born in Rowan County on July 16, 1934 to the late Columbus E. Clark and Christina Bowers Clark. She was owner of Maple Tree Frame Shop and was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Clark. Surviving are her husband, Sammy Rowe of the home, son, Michael Rowe (Martha) of Linwood; daughter, Kathy Hand (Leon) of Linwood; brothers, Donald Clark, Stanley Clark, David Clark (Mary) and Francis Clark, grandchildren, Jeremy Hand and Chris Hand, great grandchildren, Addile Hand, Gavin Hand, Garrett Hand and Wyatt Hand.
