Mary Thomason Myers

Mary Thomason Myers, 94, of Welcome-Arcadia Road, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Forsyth Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Community Fellowship Moravian Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Jack T. Nance. Interment will follow in Reedy Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Myers was born July 2, 1912, in Davidson County to William Henry and Sarah Jane Crotts Thomason. She was a retired employee of Manhattan Shirt Factory and attended Ebert Street Church of Christ in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Myers, and a son, James Delbert Myers. Surviving are a daughter, Dixie M. Hill and her husband, Archie, of Lexington; two grandchildren, David Hill and his wife, Becky, and Judy Ann Church and her husband, A.C.; and two great-grandsons, Chris Hill and Jeff Hill. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
