Mary Edwards

Mary Louise Lucas Edwards, 66, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Lexington Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Orlando, FL on December 17, 1954 to Charlie Lucas and Mary Louise Dalrymple Lucas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Teddy Lucas; her daughter, Angela Meadows; her granddaughter, Roxie Reeves; her brother, Buddy Lucas; and her sister, Judy Geiger.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 40 years, Clinton Edwards of the home; her children, Michelle Reeves (Mark) of Salisbury, Richard Meadows (Becky) of Clemmons, Denny Challis (Brandi) of Linwood, and Dede Sprinkle (Steve) of King; a brother, Gary Lucas of Daytona, FL; a sister, Linda Wodz of Orange City, FL; her precious grandchildren, Chassity, Hannah, Valerie, Olivia, Nicholas, Ryan, Wesley, Liliana, and Daxton; and numerous other extended family members and close friends who loved her dearly.
