Mary Edna Buffalo, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Lexington, NC.

Mary was born on November 1, 1951, to the late William Major Robinson and Mary Wilson Robinson. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary’s presence was a gentle but steady light in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband Johnny Buffalo, her brother James Robinson, and her sister Lonie Buchanan.

Mary was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved to take walks and enjoy the fresh air, finding peace and contentment in nature. Known by her family for her warm and welcoming kitchen, Mary’s home-cooked meals brought people together. Her pumpkin pie, in particular, became a cherished family tradition, remembered for its perfect blend of spice, sweetness, and love.

She was easygoing by nature, never asking for much, and always appreciating the small, quiet blessings in life. Above all else, Mary adored her family and treasured the time spent with them.

Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held to honor her life and memory.
