Mary Briggs

Mary Elizabeth Layton Briggs, 74, of Linwood died Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home. No services are planned. Mrs. Briggs was born in Davidson County January 20,1950 to the late Fred Wilson and Helen Hill Layton Burkehead. She was a hotel clerk in the hospitality industry. Surviving are son David Briggs of Mooresville; daughter Elizabeth Briggs of Salisbury; brother Freddy Layton; grandchildren Dylan Briggs and Brandon Briggs; and great-granddaughter Bella Briggs.
