Mary Bell

Mary Belle Farley Bell, 80, of Wildflower Trail, passed away Monday January 29, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.   A private graveside service will be held for family only at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the home of the daughter, Rita Treichler, 1162 Lingle Farm Road, Lexington, NC 27295 beginning at 6:00 PM.  Mrs. Bell was born in Kermit, West Virginia on December 9, 1937 to the late Jesse Farley and Bessie Spaulding Farley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She was a member of Reeds Fern and Foliage club and was a tailor with Bruce’s Tuxedo. She was also very faithful in visiting patients every Sunday at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living.  Surviving are her husband of fifty-four years, Charles Robert Bell of the home; son, Karl Bell (Lyda) of Knoxville, TN.; daughter, Rita Treichler (Scott) of Lexington; sisters, Lena Obert (John) of Columbus, Ohio and Ethel Fairchild of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert Charles Treichler, Shelby Ayn Treichler, Regan Treichler Abele (Ben), William Peter Treichler and Mason Granville Bell; and great- grandchild, Cayden Alexander Andrews.
