Martha Webster

Martha Ann Clapp Webster, 72, of Alston Brook, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at the nursing home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Rev. Tim Sink. Interment will follow. Mrs. Webster was born March 31, 1934, in Alamance County to Clarence Theo and Grace Cox Clapp. She was a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents, her first husband, Vernon Garrett, and her second husband, Pete Webster. Surviving are three daughters, Teresa Odum and her husband, Wayne, of Lexington, Cathy Bennett and her husband, Greg, of Burlington, and Cynthia Travena of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one son, Ronnie Garrett of Winchester, Va.; one half son, Scooter Garrett of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum and other times at 420 Oakwood Blvd., Lexington, or at Delaware Avenue in Burlington.
