Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Robert Alston Team, and children: Robert Alston Team, Jr. and wife Katherine Forehand Team; Nancy Lynn Team; David O’Brian Team and wife Kathleen Kyle Team; Anne Team Kelly and husband Melvin Bookman Kelly; and Adam Carr Team and wife Sue-Ellen Yeatts Team. In addition to her husband and children, G-Mama also loved her grandchildren: Robert Alston Team, III and fiancée Courtney Rachel Piribek; Alexander Coleman Team and wife Sarah Simons Team; Jordan Elizabeth Team; David O’Brian Team, Jr.; Elinor Carr Kelly; and Samuel Henderson Kelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Margie was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Marilynn Ferrell Gay. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, February 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16th in the church sanctuary by the Revs. Dr. Ray Howell III and Tommy Wilson.
