Marjorie Earnestine Hunt Michael 86 of Happy Hill Rd. died Sunday February 20,2011 at her home. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday February 23, 2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Reeds United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. Wednesday prior to the service at Piedmont Funeral Home. Mrs. Michael was born December 5, 1924 to the late Will Hunt and Myrtle Farabee Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Jacob H. Michael, brothers; Hoyle Hunt, Eugene Hunt, Henry Hunt, sisters; Virginia Blaylock, Geneva Leonard. She was a member of Reeds United Methodist Church and attended Heavens Gate Full Gospel Church. Surviving are son; Howard Michael and wife Estella of Lexington, daughters; Barbara Houchins and husband Arthur, Brenda Robertson and husband Johnny Sr. of Mocksville, brothers; William Hunt and wife Rachel of Virginia, Beauford Hunt and friend Katherine of Lexington, sisters; Louise Hartley of Lexington, Norma Berry of Lexington, Iva Hutchins of Lexington. Grandchildren; Cindy Shoaf and husband Dennis, Julie Farris and husband Tony, Johnny,Jr. Robertson and wife Tracie, Kristie Shaver and husband John, Tiffany Robertson ,Angie Michael, Brenda Carol Akers and husband David, Mike Pack, J.R. Houchins and wife Ann, David Houchins and wife Jewel. great grandchildren; Josh,Beka,Tyler,Emilie,Hayley,Avery,Aydan,Mollie,Karma,Jacob,Brande,Randall,Trace,David Jr., Kylie, James, Celine ,Dylen, Ashley, Robert Issac. At all other times the family will be at the home on Happy Hill Rd.
