Marjorie Livengood Everhart

  Marjorie Livengood Everhart, 80, of Old Linwood Road, died Friday February 9, 2018 at her home.   Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM  Wednesday February 14, 2018 at Smith Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Terry Smith and the Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.   Mrs. Everhart was born in Davie County on September 7, 1937 to the late James Livengood and Ruth Jones Livengood. She was preceded in death by her husband, June Hege. She worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years and did Meals on Wheels for 10 years. She was a former president of the Churchland  Lions Club and a member of the Christian Women’s Club and she loved the Lord.   Surviving are son, William Hege (Bonnie Ruth) of Linwood, daughter, Phyllis Alderman (Kevin) of Lexington, brother, Dr. Charles Livengood (Shirley) of Raleigh, granddaughter, Jessica Norton (Eugene) of Augusta, Ga.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington,NC 27292.
