Margo Lane Southern

Margo Lane Sexton Southern, 73, of Ed Tiser Road died Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  A memorial service will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. David Langley. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home before the service.  Margo was born in Guilford County October 27, 1944 to the late Marvin Ray and Mauldie Mozelle Norman Sexton. She was a member of Straight Way Baptist Church in High Point and was a retired supervisor for Rice Hosiery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Eugene Sexton.  Surviving are daughters Tonya Collins (Chad Jacobs) of Lumberton, and Angela Jones (Harvey) of Lexington. Also surviving are grandchildren Derrick Shipwash (Heather Todd), Bradford Jones (Kayla), Jeremy Jones (Amanda), Jessica Jones (Brandon), and Jayda Jacobs; great-grandchildren Aiden Shipwash, Halli Shipwash, McKenzie Stewart, Madison Stewart, Maggie Stewart, and Alex Jones; and brother Harlen Ray Sexton of Asheboro.
