Margaret Bernice Michael

Margaret Bernice Michael 80 of Shoaf St. died Sunday August 7,2011 at Abbotts Creek Care & Rehab. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill memorial Park. Margaret was born July 6,1931 to the late Charles Walter and Jeanie Potts Link. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Michael Sr., her daughters Wanda Michael, Joyce Michael and Vickie Michael, also preceding her in death were her brothers Henry Link and Charles Link, sisters; Nell Cope, Madeline Snider and Hilda Lovell. She was a member of Second Reform United Church of Christ and was a retired employee of Leonards Cleaners. Surviving are, son; Paul L. Michael ,Jr. of Winston-Salem, daughter; Elizabeth Varker and husband Barry of Lexington, brother; Paul David Link of Lexington, grandchildren; Angela Rhodes and husband Rick of Thomasville, Christopher Owens of Asheboro, great grandchildren; Chase Rhodes and Tyler Rhodes. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:30Tuesday August 9,2011 at Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter Elizabeth Varker on Riverview Rd.
