Lynda Burrage

Lynda Elberta Koontz Burrage, 70, of China Grove Highway, Rockwell, died Friday, August 26, at her home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 30, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, by Rev. Howard Baker. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday prior to the service at the Church. She was born August 12, 1941 in Davidson County to Elbert “Luke” Koontz and Evelyn Kimbrell Koontz. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are her sons, Richard Smith and his wife, Vickie, of Lexington, Teddy Burrage of Richfield and Shane Burrage and his wife, Tracy, of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Allen Smith, Daniel Smith, Matthew Burrage, and Brandon Burrage; and her sister, Theresa Bruening of Heathrow, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 4299 S. NC Highway 150, Lexington NC 27295
