Luther Brogdon

Mr.Luther Oneil “Buck” Brogdon,80, of Chapel Drive, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.  Mr. Brogdon was born in Catawba County  July 18, 1939 to the late Carl  Raymond and Lucille Glass Brogdon. He formerly worked for J.B. White Construction , and for Triangle Construction Company, and thoroughly enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and sisters  Betty, Reba, and Colleen.  Surviving are son, Keith Brogdon (Tonya) of Lexington;  daughter, Patricia Brogdon Grim of Lexington; brother, Buddy Brogdon of Lexington; grandchildren Zakk and Allison Grim; and great-grandchildren Charli Ann Grim, and Brady Morris.
