Luke Shadrick Patterson, Sr.

Mr. Luke Shadrick Patterson, Sr., 63, of Lexington died Thursday, January 25, 2024. The family will have a visitation on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Piedmont Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at 11:00 AM at The Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144 with full military honors provided by The Davidson County Honor Guard. Sister Swanetta Stowe will officiate the service. Mr. Patterson was born May 6, 1960 in Kansas to the late Leon and Darlene Wilson Patterson. A US Army Veteran, he was a retired minister and formerly affiliated with First Baptist Church of Village Drive, Lexington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Charles Patterson and Ronnell Wheeler, and sisters Connie Patterson and Carlotta Akins. Surviving are Dorothee Patterson, son, Luke Shadrick Patterson, Jr. of Winston-Salem, daughter, Kiesha Patterson of Walkertown, brothers Dwayne, Carlos, and Edward Patterson, and Leon Morgan, and grandson, Jenaree White, and a host of other relatives, family, and friends.
