Lucille Adams Hartley

  Mary Lucille Adams Hartley, 93, of Alston Brook Care and Rehabilitation died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the nursing center.   A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jerry Bowen and Preacher Clyde Akers.  Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.   Mrs. Hartley was born in Virginia July 19, 1924 to the late John and Mary Kay Fuller Blackmon. A member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, she was always a very happy person who loved everyone, especially her grandchildren. She retired from the former Link-Taylor Corporation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Franklin Hartley, sons Robert and Franklin Hartley, sister Georgia Mauney, daughter-in-law Becky Hartley, and sons-in-law David Huffman and Aaron Yarbrough.   Surviving are sons Grady Hartley (Sally) and Donald Hartley; daughters Mildred Huffman and Frances Yarbrough all of Lexington, and Louise Everhart (Odell) of Linwood; and daughter-in-law Marlene Hartley. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
