Linda Caroline Patterson Prince, 79, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Ben Patterson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday at Piedmont Funeral Home.

Mrs. Prince was born in Concord on August 10, 1943, to Ben Posey Patterson and Sarah Caroline Underwood Patterson. She was a retired seamstress inspector, having worked for Collins and Aikman and was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Cleaston Prince; a son, Carl Ingram, Jr.; and a brother, Terry Edward Patterson.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Sarah Bickish, Carla Swinson, and Terry Daniel Ingram; her brothers, Raymond Patterson (Nina), David Paul Patterson, and Kenny Ben Patterson; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
