Linda Joanne Cook

Linda Lee Burch Cook 71 of Mountain Vista Road, passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at Mountain Vista Health Park.  A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, February 1 at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Scott Slaughter officiating.  Linda was born in Mechanicsville, Va. on April 29, 1948 to the late Lee Oliver Burch Sr. and Shirley Wade Burch. She was formerly co- owner of Cook’s Barbecue.  Surviving are her sons, Brandon Lee Cook of Lexington and Scott Cook of Denton, niece, Christi Burch Hunt  of Lexington, brothers, Rodney Keith Burch (Viki) of Smithfield, Va., Lee Burch,Jr. (Marsha) of Lexington, grandson, Brandon Colton Cook of Lexington and granddaughter, Lindsay Nicole Mize of Conway, SC.  Memorials may be made to: Mountain Vista Health Park, 106 Mountain Vista Rd.
