Linda Carolyn Beck

Linda Carolyn Winn Beck, 70, of Shannon Drive died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Brian Center Nursing Care of Lexington. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Lexington City Cemetery conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. Mrs. Beck was born on December 10, 1941 in Davidson County to the late Glenn Gravely Winn, Sr. and Mary Kathleen Welborn Winn. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired daycare operator. She was also a big Carolina fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Jean Stanford. Surviving are her husband, Leonard Pennington “Lee” Beck of the home; brother, Glenn “Buzz” Gravely Winn, Jr. and wife Martha of Southmont; special niece, Mary Ann Daley of Lexington; and many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
