Leum Sen, born on November 2, 1963, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Lexington, North Carolina in the arms of his beloved wife, Him Hach, and considered “son in law” Guillermo Armenta-Silva, at the home where he found his peace. He was a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was a man who never thought any less of anyone and was involved in an entirety of the Lexington Cambodian community. Much of his life consisted of his favorite hobbies of fishing and being the family’s master chef. He lived that very life with no regrets and to the fullest.

Leum is survived by his loving wife, Him Hach; his children, Sokhountea Lee Leum, Sokhar Lane Leum, and Shena Linn Leum; as well as his brothers, Tok Sen, Poeg Sen, and Hamm Sen, and his sisters, Soeurm Sen, Sonn Sen and Seab Sen. He was a cherished uncle to a countless number of nieces and nephews.

Leum was preceded in death by his parents, Sen Thorne and Chaz Sim.

A service is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 405 S Main St in Lexington, NC 27292.

Leum Sen's memory and spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
