Lattie E. (Buster) Goodman age 76 of Tyro Road, passed away early Friday morning 9-04-2009 in High Point Regional Hospital after declining health of one year. He was born September 15, 1932 in Duplin County to Walter James and Louise Bradley Goodman. Before his illness he was employed by Foster Tire in Lexington. Funeral services for Mr. Goodman will be 12p.m. Monday September 7, in the chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Norman and his son Rev. Lattie Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Goodman Sr. He is survived by his wife Pearl Gainus Goodman of the home. Two daughters Ann Goodman of the home, and Eleanor Barrier and husband Mike of Denton; two sons Lattie Ray Goodman and wife Patricia, and Jerry Goodman and wife Patty both of Lincolnton, N.C. ; a sister Mary Lou Howard and husband Ressie of Mt. Olive N.C. and a sister-in-law Catherine Goodman of Carolina Shores, N.C.; and 4 grandchildren Chris Vinson, Jeremy Goodman and wife Chris, Jay Goodman and Laura Goodman. The family will see friends Monday from 10:00a.m until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home on Tyro Road.
