Rev. Kenneth Kingsley Klaver, 76 of Hillside Drive, died Wednesday April 29, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday May 8, 2015 at Taylorsville Church of God, with the Rev. Mark Albertino and the Rev. Alan Greene officiating. Family will receive friends following the service at the Church. Rev. Klaver was born in Walworth, New York on June 9, 1938 to the late Otto Klaver and Alma Welcher Klaver. He was a retired pastor of the Church of God in several states and was a retired employee of Akzo Nobel in High Point. He was preceded in death by brothers, John Klaver and Otto Robert Klaver,III and baby sister Betty. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Nadine Gill Klaver of the home; sons, Kevin Klaver and wife Victoria of Archdale; Steven Klaver of the home; daughters, Kathryn Ratchford and husband William of Houston,Texas; Sandra Mortimer and husband John of Roanoke,Va.; brother, Edward R. Klaver of Rochester, NY; sister, Alice Baker of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Lesley Keyes, Amanda Young, Monte Amelia Ratchford, Emily Ratchford, William Ratchford, John Wayne Mortimer, Michael Mortimer, Brianna Klaver and Omari Robertson, great grandchildren, Matthew Ratchford, Kathryn Granger,Maverick Mortimer, Gene Autry Young,III and Avery Kenneth Young.
