Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Jackson, Jr., 58, of Davidson County, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Born on November 27, 1967, in Stockton, California, Kenny was the son of Kenneth Ray Jackson, Sr. and Bettie Jean Johnson Perryman. He was a proud member of Lexington Memorial Masonic Lodge No.473 and was affiliated with the National Rifle Association, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Piedmont Handgun Association. He was also a member of Tyro United Methodist Church.

Kenny was a machinist by trade and found great fulfillment working in the racing community. His love of math was woven into everything he did, guiding his hands and mind as he pursued precision and excellence in his craft. He was currently employed at Williams Performance in Mount Ulla.

Kenny had a deep passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and maintaining "the farm" (IYKYK). He found joy in barbecuing, gathering with friends and family, and making the most of every moment spent together. More than anything, he cherished time with his children whether it was cheering them on at the ballfield or simply sitting down for dinner as a family. He was a man who stood firmly for what was right, and his motto, “stand tall,” is a legacy that will live on through all who knew and loved him. His children and family referred to him as their super hero. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. He had an unmatched sense of humor, and never met a stranger. He was sharp as a tack. As a tremendous animal lover, he especially loved his dogs, Itsy, Hank, and Millie, and will be welcomed in Heaven by his furry angels.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Beightol Jackson; his sons, Sean Marshall Kenneth Jackson and Jacob Alexander Jackson (fiancée, Emilie Sexton); and his daughter, Emma Leigh Ann Jackson (boyfriend, Mason Smith). He is also survived by his parents, Kenneth Ray Jackson, Sr. (Susan) and Bettie Jean Johnson Perryman (David); his in-laws Joyce and David Beightol; his brother, Kevin Jackson (Jessica); his sister, Kimberly Jackson (Grant); his sister-in-law, Sharon Rusnock (Dan); his nieces, Katie Hoyle (Kameron) and Rylan Jackson; his nephews, Dylon Lester (Danielle) and Rance Jackson; and his great-niece, Lynnlee Hoyle.

He was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by his grandparents, Marshall Jackson, Juanita Jackson, Norma Johnson and Bob Perryman; his uncles, Larry Jackson, Tim Johnson, and Bobby Johnson; his aunt Pat Bridges and his childhood friend, Shawn Lambe, along with many other cherished friends.

Kenny will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, loyalty, honesty, and unwavering character.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior at 10:00 a.m., at the same location. Casual dress is requested. Come as Kenny knew you.
