Kenneth Earl Heaps

Kenneth Earl Heaps, 87, of Spyglass Drive, Advance, NC, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Brookstone Retirement in Lexington. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Heaps was born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 24, 1936 to the late Clarnece Heaps and Hazel Mumaw Heaps. He taught in the Public School system in Columbus, Ohio for many years. Surviving is his wife, Heidi Heaps of the home, daughter, Sharon Knight and husband Jeremy of Lafayette, Indiana, step son, Sandor Siipkay and wife Crystal of Advance, grandchildren, Kaden, Becca, Michael, Nicholas, Jonathan and Elizabeth. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren.
