Keith Ashley Thomas

Mr. Keith Ashley Thomas, 63, of Swicegood Road died Tuesday, September 17,2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Matt Miller. Interment will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Mr. Thomas was born October 18, 1955 in Rowan County to Kenneth Ray and Betty Lou Robison Thomas. A member of First Lutheran Church, he was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School and had retired from Gildan of Mocksville. He organized all Lexington High School Class of 1974 reunions, and loved to travel and read. A history buff, he loved to listen to music, was a good singer, and also loved auto racing. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Susan Harris.  Surviving are his mother of Lexington; brother Mike Thomas (Sherry) of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister Debbie Bost of Linwood; nieces Mandy (Ricky) of Winston-Salem, Shea, Tesha, and Tyree of Thomasville, Genia of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Ashleigh (Josh) of Fayetteville; and nephews Eric of Linwood, Michael and Aaron of Myrtle Beach, SC, Travis and Pat of Linwood, and Josh of Lexington.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.
