Katherine Tussey-Alfson

On Wednesday morning, April 28, 2021 Katherine Tussey- Alfson, a beautiful spirit, suddenly and peacefully departed this earth for her heavenly home after just starting treatment for early stage lung cancer. Kathy was a super talented cook, compassionate caregiver, and devoted pet mom. Born November 5, 1962 to Steven and Brenda Tussey who passed before her, she will be remembered by her sister Lisa (Roy) Biegel; child and grandchildren of her heart: Jennifer (James), Jaidyn, Lainee, Maddox and Marissa May; and the family and friends for whom she cared deeply: especially Scott and Wendy-- thank you for your help through the treatments. Kathy’s Celebration of Life service will be at Piedmont Funeral Home in Lexington, NC on Saturday, July 24 at 2:00 pm; then her internment at sea the following day at the beach she loved.
