Karen Little Walser

Karen Joyce Little Walser, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 83.

Her life will be celebrated at a funeral service to be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the Piedmont Funeral Home, Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jason Koontz officiating. Following the service, burial will take place at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Karen was born in Rowan County on February 21, 1941, to Fred Ray Little and Irene Kennedy Little. She was a pillar of love and strength within her family, known for her kindness and unwavering support. Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walser, her brother Donald Ray Little, and her sister Patsy Ann Koonts.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Sonny Poole (Susie) and Donna Byerly (Tim); her sister, Sherri Keller (Donny); four grandchildren, Miranda Poole, Stevie Poole, Sean Poole, and Seth Poole; four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Karen's legacy of love and compassion will live on through her family and those who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Karen's caretaker, Pam Moody, for her dedicated support and care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
