Karen Ruth Cross

Karen Ruth Pinyan Cross, 77, of Lexington, NC passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. 

  A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Jerry Bowen officiating.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.  

Karen was born in Davidson County on December 2, 1948 to the late John Pinyan and Ollie Harrison Pinyan.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Norma Surratt, Wanda Gaudette and Diane Pinyan and was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.  Karen also adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Randy "Steve" Gross of the home, son, Charles Cross (Donna) of Lexington, daughter, Tanya Cross Willaims (Ronnie) of Lexington, grandchildren, Olivia Williams, Jacob Williams, Sean Clark and Mitch Clark, great-grandchildren, Aubree Clark, Kelsie Clark and Sadie Clark.
