Kaitlin Dawn Combs

Katlin Dawn Combs, 14, of Allen Drive, died Sunday February 17, 2013, from injuries received in an automobile accident. A funeral to celebrate Katlin’s life will be 4:00 p.m. Friday February 22, 2013 in the chapel of Piedmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at Piedmont Funeral Home. Katlin was born in Davidson County, December 18, 1998 to Jason Samuel Bates and Vickie Lynn Combs Litteral. She was a student at North Davidson Middle School. Preceding her in death are, her grandparents, David Bates, Herman Combs, and Maxine May Combs. Katlin is survived by: her father and step-mother Tina Bates and her mother and step-father Dustin Litteral; brothers, Aydan Litteral, Casey Hohn, and Frank Bates; sisters, Mary Combs, Naia Bates, and Millie Hohn; grandparents, Angie Bates, Glenda Neel, Michael Neel and Dale Cartrette; step-grandmothers Maxine Ann Combs, Donna Lynch and Paula Abbington and great-grandfather Auburn Cartrette.
